O konferenci

Konferenca, ki jo organizira mreža UNESCO UNITWIN 'Kultura, turizem, razvoj' in njena članica, Univerza na Primorskem, Fakulteta za turistične študije TURISTICA, je mednarodni in interdisciplinarni forum, ki obravnava nastajajoče potrebe po trajnostno usmerjenih inovacijah v turističnem upravljanju lokacij svetovne dediščine. 

Mreža UNESCO UNITWIN "Kultura, turizem, razvoj" že od leta 2010 organizira bienalne mednarodne konference na temo svetovne dediščine in turizma.

7. konferenca UNESCO UNITWIN "World Heritage & Tourism Innovation" je obenem tudi 8. konferenca ENCUENTROS Univerze na Primorskem, Fakultete za turistične študije - Turistica.

Encuentros je mednarodna konferenca, ki jo organizira UP Fakulteta za turistične študije - Turistica. Konferenca, ki poteka na jadranski obali v pristanišču vrtnic (Portorož), ki spada v občino Piran, predstavlja prostor za srečanja turističnih strokovnjakov iz različnih akademskih strok, turističnih strokovnjakov in študentov.
